The Volunteer House is the most popular accommodation for our volunteers. Here you can meet other volunteers and share your experience.
It is very affordable and therefore ideal for long-term stays.
The average age is 18 to 25. Students visiting our language school may also stay at the Volunteer House.
There are single and shared rooms with bathrooms to share. A slef-catering kitchen, a common area, a garden and a pool offer the perfect space to bond with other volunteers and share your experiences.
Wifi is available free of charge.
The Volunteer House is a private house in the upmarket residential area of Newlands.
The commercial centre of the southern suburbs as well as Rondebosch, an area frequented by university students, can be reached within a 15-minute walk. In both areas, you will find shops, restaurants, bars, banks and everything else you might need.
We also provide a shuttle service from the Volunteer House to most of our projects .
