What's new at Good Hope Volunteers

The office itself, and our sister company, Good Hope Studies, has had a major facelift, and the students and volunteers can enjoy a dip in the crystal blue pool, or relax on the comfortable loungers on the huge deck! Come and visit us here in Newlands, and enjoy the view of the mountain and the lush indigenous gardens.

Good Hope Volunteers has partnered with Taste Buddy SA for healthy, ready to eat meals for volunteers on the go. Freshly prepared meals are delivered to you at school or at your accommodation, so you have a packed lunch ready to go for your full day of volunteering. Many volunteer sites do not have great access to lunch time restaurants and shops, and this is a wonderfully affordable way to make sure you have enough to eat through the day!

Every month Good Hope Volunteers is hosting a volunteering day for ALL of the volunteers in Cape Town. Naomi and Vanessa will be hosting service days, where volunteers and friends can give back to the area and the community. For example, GHV volunteers donated 200 hot dogs to 3 of our projects, we had a wonderful face painting day in Hout Bay with all the local children. This month we are heading to clean our beautiful beaches! This is going to be a permanent fixture in the Good Hope Volunteers programme, all volunteers are welcome, and we look forward to all the good work we will be able to do together!
